ShiTab Privacy Policy

1. What the extension reads

ShiTab is a browser tab manager. To save, restore and organise tabs, it reads:

Favicons are requested by your browser directly from the site the tab belongs to. They never pass through me — I have no server to pass anything through.

2. Where your data lives

ShiTab is local-first. Every group, category, trash entry and setting is kept in your browser's own local storage on your machine.

I do not collect, upload or sell your browsing data. There is no analytics code, no usage reporting and no tracking of any kind in the extension.

The only network request ShiTab is able to make is the one described in section 3, to an address you type yourself. Until you press Connect & sync, the extension sends nothing anywhere.

3. WebDAV sync, if you turn it on

Syncing is off by default. If you enable it, ShiTab sends your saved data to the WebDAV service you choose and configure yourself — for example Jianguoyun, or any other WebDAV-compatible server.

That service is selected, paid for and administered by you, not by me. I cannot see it, and I have no copy of it.

Your WebDAV password is stored only in this browser's local storage. It is used solely to authenticate requests to the address you typed, and it is never included in the synced data or in an exported backup file.

4. Sharing with third parties

ShiTab does not sell user data, does not show advertising, and does not build behavioural profiles. There is nothing to share, because nothing reaches me.

5. Deleting your data

You can remove your data at any time:

Deleted groups stay in the built-in trash for 7 days so you can change your mind, then are removed permanently. Uninstalling ShiTab removes everything it stored locally.

1. 扩展会读到什么

ShiTab 是一个浏览器标签管理扩展。为了提供标签保存、恢复、整理功能，扩展会读取：

网页图标由你的浏览器直接向那个网站本身取，不经过我 —— 我没有服务器可以经过。

2. 数据存在哪里

ShiTab 默认采用本地优先策略。所有分组、分类、回收站与设置，都保存在你这台浏览器的本地存储里。

我不会收集、上传或出售你的浏览数据。扩展里没有统计代码，不做使用上报，也不做任何形式的行为追踪。

ShiTab 唯一可能发出的网络请求，就是第 3 节说的那个、由你自己填写的地址。在你按下「连接并同步」之前， 扩展什么都不会发出去。

3. WebDAV 同步（需要你主动开启）

同步默认是关的。如果你主动开启，ShiTab 会把数据同步到你指定并配置的 WebDAV 服务， 例如坚果云，或任何兼容 WebDAV 的服务。

这个服务由你自己选择、自己付费、自己管理。我看不到它，也没有它的任何副本。

你的 WebDAV 密码只存在这台浏览器的本地存储里，只用于向你填写的地址做认证， 不会进入同步数据，也不会进入导出的备份文件。

4. 数据共享

ShiTab 不出售用户数据，不投放广告，不做用户行为追踪。没有任何数据会到达我手上， 所以也没有可共享的东西。

5. 删除数据

你可以随时删除自己的数据：

删掉的分组会先在扩展的回收站里放 7 天，方便你反悔，到期后彻底删除。卸载 ShiTab 会把本地存的东西一并清掉。
